New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the death sentence of Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in which 166 people were killed.
Confirming the death sentence awarded by the trial court, the apex court accepted the prosecution's charge it is a rarest of rare case asKasab is guilty of waging a war against the nation, hence he deserves no mercy.
Kasab, who is lodged in Arthur Road Prison in Mumbai, had filed the appeal from jail challenging his conviction and death sentence.
